I can’t recommend 44 Charcoal Grill highly enough! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff are always cheerful, efficient, and genuinely care about providing great service. The food? Absolutely top-notch. The fish is always fresh, perfectly crispy on the outside, and flaky on the inside. The chips are golden, thick-cut, and just the right level of fluffy. And don’t even get me started on the sides—the mushy peas and tartare sauce are the perfect accompaniments. What really sets them apart is the attention to detail. Everything is cooked to perfection and served piping hot. It’s clear that they take pride in their work, and it shows in every bite. If you’re looking for classic fish and chips done right, look no further than this place. It’s easily the best in town, and I’ll definitely be back for more!

I've been coming to this new chip for awhile now and can highly recommend it. The staff are always friendly and cater for your particulars. The shop replaced the previous one but, now offers more to choose from. Food is always fresh and tasty!! Always order the Haddock with chips but, have ordered the various doner, shish, adana kebabs in the past. My daughter loves the deep fried halloumi, highly recommend it! 😊👍

Great new kebab shop in the area with delicious traditional and authentic Turkish food. There is also a fish and chip counter at the back of the shop. Quick and friendly service, I would recommend this to anybody looking for something to eat that’s tasty and reasonably priced.
